Not all the fans that attend the Star Trek Conventions are “TREKKIES”
Not all the fans who collect Star Trek autographs are “TREKKIES”.

I am a fan of these original seven actors and actresses who were the cast of Star Trek.
Such an amazing and very gifted cast that though I am not a huge fan of the 1960’s television
series and subsequent films, I do very much admire thier talents and felt that I really wanted
to obtain thier signatures and add them to my collection.

Starting around 1989, and since, I have attended no less than about 13 of the various
Star Trek Conventions held in various cities such as Pasadena, San Francisco and the biggest convention of them all held each year in Las Vegas. Along with the many book signings, personal appearances, other autograph style conventions, and even for a time limited access on the Paramount Studios lot, I have not just the signatures you see here on this page, but probably
close to another 250 signatures of the original cast in my entire Star Trek collection.

Call me a trekkie……hardly, …simply a fan who enjoys some of the finest
acting any television series has ever had.

QUICK STORY about Mr. Deforest Kelley: For several years about 10 years before he passed away, he would sign autographs at his front door of his Sherman Oaks home. He was very comfortable doing so, especially while in his front yard gardening. However, word got out on this
and pretty soon fans started showing up dressed as the various Star Trek creatures all wanting autographs and photos. It freaked out his neighbors so much, that soon thereafter Mr. Kelley
had to adopt a no signing policy at his home.
