Unless otherwise noted, ALL signatures contained on this website
and in my entire collection were obtained in-person, through
a concert merchandise booth and/or direct from the artists website.
I do not purchase signatures through any internet vendor OR trade with other collectors.
This is probably the most independent and unique assembly
you will find in a private fan’s collection.
These are some of the luckiest, funnest and even actually most one of a kind of
items found anywhere within my collection.
Some of these autographs were not at all expected or planned, while others were at one-time shows,
or very rare encounters that may not ever present themselves again.
I was simply at the right place at the right time, but always prepared for what might happen.
ENJOY!
What I do know for sure is, I was at that very famous Pretenders concert at Perkins Palace
on September 3, 1981, when Bruce Springsteen jumped on stage for the encore.
So, authentic or not, this PRETENDERS I album
stays very safe and secure in my collection.
One of the earliest autographs I ever obtained was from Brian Setzer on this
Barney’s Beanery Restaurant menu in the late 1980’s
as he was playing pool with some buddies, drinking some beers and simply relaxing and having fun.
I should have taken a picture of his gorgeous white Harley parked just outside on the curb.
Autographed index card and the Barney’s Beanery newspaper menu, both signed by Brian.

THINK BACK TO THE LATE 1980’S AND EARLY 1990’S.
Think back to a time prior to the internet and prior to the absolute surplus you see now of an artists publicity photos and paparazzi images where obtaining photographs of a celebrity was next to impossible and at times could get quite expensive. So, when the over 50+ page 1985 FARM AID program came out, filled with a ton of celebrity photographs, I bought up several copies and carried these books with me literally everywhere and had them with me constantly, as my “one stop shop” ready to get any page signed as the musician was seen.
Crafty, but very effective for the time. Some of those signed pages are below:
(while others are on the Eagles, Sammy Hagar, Billy Joel and Tom Petty pages).
